Abandoned Cart Rate

It is the percentage of total shopping carts abandoned by the customers. Basically, it is the ratio of total carts abandoned by your customers (on your webstore) to total completed transactions by your customers.

Understanding the abandoned cart rate is a great way to understand buyer behaviour and pattern. While you run digital marketing campaigns on Shopmatic to acquire more users, you need to measure the effectiveness of your ads. Using the Google Analytics integration, you can understand the number of people who saw your product ad make successful purchases as compared to the number of people who added the product to their shopping cart but dropped off and did not complete the purchase. Thereby, making it easier for you to measure the effectiveness of your campaigns.
